  • In the U.S., the demand for bilingual employees has more than doubled since 2010 – a study from the New American Economy shows that online job postings targeting bilingual workers went up 162% between 2010 and 2015.   • TV shows and series increasingly feature authentic dialogues in foreign languages employing native speakers, for demographic and commercial reasons. These dialogues are subtitled and add to the sense of realism. (USA Today (DC) (03/27/17) Keveney, Bill)
